Defeat Bedrock and Complete The Fallen King Main Quest

The Fallen King is a Main Quest that you need to complete to progress through the planet of Palette Prime. At the end of the quest, you'll battle with a boss called Bedrock. After defeating the boss and completing the quest, you unlock Bowser as a playable character.

Bowser makes a great support character since he is able to both tank hits and inflict massive damage to opponents, especially with skills that increase his health and damage. Demolisher also allows Bowser to take down enemy cover, which not only benefits him, but also the other attackers in the team.

His Rabbid Mechakoopas can be used to deliver extra damage or secure the area around your team. It is best to increase their number and add the Burn effect to increase the effectiveness of the Signature Ability.

How to Use Bowser

High HP Makes Him a Great Tank

Bowser has comparable HP to Heroes like Peach, making him an excellent tank for the team. However, since he lacks any defensive abilities, it is best to pair him with a Healer like Rabbid Peach to keep his health up during longer battles.

Uses Long-Ranged Explosives

Bowser's weapon, the Bowzooka, causes area of effect damage around targets at medium to long-range, similar to a Rocket Launcher. His signature ability also allows him to place bomb-like contraptions on the field that walk towards the nearest target or function as landmines when they don't reach their target that turn.
