| Steps to proceed through Pond Scum | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  The quest is located in Spellbound Woods. |
| 2 |  Fast travel to the Spellbound Woods Entrance Fast Travel Flag. Then, run down to the large tree trunk arch northwest of the flag. |
| 3 |  Past the arch, turn to your right and you will see the Darkmess Puddle. Interact with it to start the quest. |
| 4 |  Reach the designated in the battle quest. You can either ignore the enemies or destroy them along the way! |

When you put points into Rabbid Mario's Movement Range, he can be the ideal hero to get to the area fast. His skill, No Limits, can also let him reposition even after attacking, so after destroying enemies, position him as close as possible to the goal! If you can not be bothered fighting the enemies, use Ethering to get out of fights. |
