1. Search for Da Da's footprints.
2. Get in Danger Zone.
3. Defeat the Darkmess Puddle to rescue Da Da.

Quest Walkthrough

Steps to proceed through Tortured Artist

Head to the quest marker in the map and talk to Gerspard to start the side quest.

Use the Scan ability to follow Da Da's footprints that lead to the Danger Zone.

Use the Scan ability to create a yellow bridge leading to the Danger Zone.

Pick up the egg-like thing and use the Wave ability to move the black block.

Go around the path and use the Wave ability to move the black block to access the Rabbid pipe.

Throw the egg-like thing towards the Darkmess Eye to destroy it.

Place the black and blue square on the black block and use the Wave ability to lift it up to the second floor.

Use the Scan ability to uncover a yellow bridge leading to the Darkmess switch. Place the black and blue square on the switch to remove the Darkmess that's blocking the next path.

Use the Wave ability to lift the black block to reach the new Rabbid pipe. Drop down from the metal ledge and enter the Rabbid pipe on the ground floor to access the second floor and reach the new Rabbid pipe.

Use the Scan ability to reach the Darkmess Puddle on the lefft side. Interact with the puddle to start the battle quest, Da Da in Danger.

Da Da in Danger Battle Quest Tips and Strategies

Steps to proceed through Da Da in Danger

Defeat the single Spellraiser at the start of your turn. This enemy can attack the structure that you are defending and can summon Stooges during its turn.

After defeating the Spellraiser, move to the areas with the Darkmess Eyes and take out as many as you can during your turn.
Note: Use characters that can target multiple targets such as Mario, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Luigi, and Edge.

Make sure to focus on destroying the Darkmess Eyes as more enemies such as Sea Stooges and Magikoopas will appear from the black holes if the battle takes too long.

ok, two of Cyrodash in the game are so odd how can I get two???

Apologies, it doesn't skip steps but didn't do a very good job of describing a couple of the steps, and it uses the wrong *shape*. It's not a "blue and black square", it's a sphere! That caused me to run around looking for something that didn't exist. Overall, this walk through got the job done tho and is marginally better than I originally thought.
