| Steps to proceed through Giant Surprise | |

| 1 |  The Gold Pipe for the Giant Depleter can be found in the Spellbound Woods. |
| 2 |  From the Spellbound Woods Entrance Flag, head towards the ladder that you see on your left and climb up it to find a Rabbid Pipe. |
| 3 |  The Gold Pipe will be visible once you climb the ladder. Take the Rabbid Pipe down and head towards the right to access it. |
| 4 |  Enter the golden pipe to get to the battle area. Note that you need to have collected 24 Sparks to enter the Gold Pipe. |
| 5 |  Go near the Giant Depleter to engage the battle. Defeat it to complete the quest! |

Oversized and aggressive opponent that gets in close and restores some of its health at the expense of its opponent's with each successful assault. Its Technique allows it to immediately respond to attacks with a counterattack. Unique Ability: Undashable Cannot be Dashed. |

Mario's Dual Slingers allow him to keep his distance, allowing him to attack both the Giant Depleter and the other enemies in this stage. Investment in Mario's Technique Skill Tree, particularly Additional Hero Sight Charge and Hero Sight Cooldown Skill make him an offensive threat during enemy turns. Starburst and Exosphere improve Mario's Offense and defense respectively. |

Use Vampastra to heal when needed, and Reflector to reduce any damage aimed at you. |

Beating Giant Monster Quests will reward you Gold Prisms. These will unlock the Spark branch in the Hero Skill Tree, which will further improve the effectiveness of your Spark!
How to Unlock Giant Surprise
Unlock the Golden Pipe in Palette Prime
Giant Surprise is available as soon as you enter Spellbound Woods of Palette Prime. However, to fight the Giant Depleter, you need to have collected 24 Sparks to unlock the golden pipe entrance.
