| Steps to proceed through Midwinter Gateway | |

| 1 |  Go to the indicated location in the map. The quest will be inside of the snow-covered, pink house. |
| 2 |  To get there, fast travel to the Lookout Point Fast Travel Flag. Facing north, run down the slope then turn to your left. Keep going until you see a ladder that will lead down a path to the house. |
| 3 |  Inside, Madame Bwahstrella is inside and will issue you a challenge in another dimension. Picking 'Yes' will spawn a dimensional gateway that will take you to a battle quest. |
| 4 |  Defeat all 18 enemies to complete the quest. It will contain Scoopers, Stooges, and Squashers. |

Move Mario and a hero close enough to enemies to have Mario team jump and stomp multiple enemies at once. If it doesn't finish them, use Mario's Jump Shot to shoot them down in the air. Use Glitter to draw far-away Scoopers close. |

Snipe multiple enemies from far-away with Luigi's Steely Stare and Ghost Bullet combo. Have him as far away as possible and always put him on higher ground than the enemy to deal massive damage. Amplify your damage more with Starburst and Screech's passive. |
