| Steps to proceed through A Ghostly Sunset | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Use the jumping pad to reach the first area. Defeat the Flamin' Stooge first using a combination of Dashes and weapon attacks. Note: If you have Peach in your party, you can activate Team Barrier each time you move to another area to protect yourself from incoming attacks. |
| 2 |  Once you have cleared the first area, the Flamin' Stooges on the second area may have moved towards you to attack. These enemies, along with the Ghostly Walker, cannot use the jumping pads but their attack range can reach the first area. |
| 3 |  After clearing the second area, jump on the three jumping pads to reach the high ground. Defeat the Flamin' Stooge at this area and attack the Ghostly Walkers below. |
| 4 |  Head down from the high ground to take out the remaning enemies. A slow approach is recommended as the Ghostly Walkers can inflict Gust which can push your Heroes out of bonds and incur extra damage. |

Use Rabbid Mario as your main attacker for this battle quest as his weapon ignores partial covers and can hit multiple enemies. Make sure to unlock No Limits skills to allow him to move freely after attacking and providing Team Jumps for the other two heroes. |

Use Edge as your secondary attacker to take out the Flamin' Stooges using a Splash-powered Flying Blade. Assign Skill Prisms to Extra Dash and activate Electrodash to damage nearby Ghostly Walkers and inflict Shock Super Effect. |

How to Unlock A Ghostly Sunset
Complete The Fallen King
A Ghostly Sunset unlocks after completing The Fallen King and approaching the entrance of the Spellbound Woods Entrance. It is the first battle quest you encounter as part of the Off-Color main story quest.
