| Steps to proceed through Spout Forth | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Have one Hero with wide movement range Team Jump towards the jumping pad on the left side of the area. This allows them to access the explosives to destroy the first Darkmess Dam. |
| 2 |  Make sure to defeat the Lone Wolves at the high ground before moving on to the next area. They can activate Evil Sight, which can trap you between enemies from both sides. Note: If a Hero has Team Barrier on, they can move towards the direction of the Evil Sight to remove its effect and not take damage. |
| 3 |  After clearing the second Darkmess Dam, move all your Heroes to the white pipe on the left side. |
| 4 |  Clear the third area of enemies and have a Hero with wide movement range head towards the explosives to throw it towards the third Darkmess Dam to complete the battle quest. |

Use Rabbid Mario as your main attacker for this battle quest as his weapon ignores partial covers and can hit multiple enemies. Make sure to unlock Punch Frenzy for Rabbid Mario to inflict 2 extra hits when using his weapon and Extra Dash for additional attack options. |

Upgrade Peach's Movement Range at the maxminum amount and put one Skill Prism on Glide Boost. This allows her to move around better and pick up and throw the explosives at the Darkmess Dams. Summon an Oozer once you reach the second area in order to distract the incoming enemies that will appear from the black hole. |
