Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Mario Rabbids 2) is a sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle but is yet to be confirmed if it takes place after the events of the first game. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle released in 2017 but is yet to be confirmed if it takes place after the events of the first game.

However, it can be speculated that it potentially picks up after the events of the first game seeing that the trailer opens with the main characters at Princess Peach's castle as they meet Starburst, one of the many Sparks they will save throughout this new adventure.
