Peach is one of the best defenders in the game due to her Signature Ability, Team Barrier, which negates all damage targeted at her and allies within a certain radius. Because it is an incredibly useful ability, skills that increase the effectiveness of it are best to prioritize.

Increasing her gliding distance allows Peach to reach her farther away allies when needed. So the Hero aiding her Jump Boost does not get left unprotected, Barrier Jump Assist is also recommended.

Start In Deep Water Main Quest

You unlock Peach automatically after receiving the Main Quest In Deep Water, as soon as you land on Beacon Beach. In Deep Water is unlocked after completing An Overall Nice Day, the prologue of the game consisting of various tutorial levels.
