| Steps to proceed through Efflorescent Gateway | |

| 1 |  After completing The Warrior and the Windbag, head down the newly-opened downward slope and watch the cutscene that follows. Talk to Madame Bwahstrella to start the Efflorescent Gateway side quest. |
| 2 |  Eliminate the nearby Squashette and Armored Goombas in the area before moving to the jumping pad. |
| 3 |  Make your way to the top part of the area. Stay in this area until you have eliminated all Wildclaws and Squashettes. |
| 4 |  Have two Heroes eliminate the Depleters and the Oozer. Use one Hero with Extra Dash skill to defeat the Armored Goombas. |

Have Luigi move to the top part of the area and activate Steely Stare to attack opponents if they move during their turn. Make sure to unlock Ghost Bullet and Additional Steely Stare Charge to deal extra damage to opponents that are hiding behind cover. |

Set up a Team Barrier when moving to attack the Depleters and Oozer. Have the Barrier Jump Assist unlocked to allow her to give one charge of Barrier to the Hero who assists her. Activate Ethering to allow her to attack opponents at close-range without being targeted during the enemies' turn. |
