The Tower of Doooom DLC Guide
The first DLC to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is The Tower of Doooom, released on March 2, 2023. The guide below explores its stage mechanics, rewards and story.
The Tower of Doooom Mechanics
Survive, Defeat Enemies, Destroy Darkmess Eyes and Reach Goal
Up to three portals will spawn behind Madame Bwahstrella at each floor with 1 challenge beaten counting as completing a single floor. The first objective in classic mode is to reach the 10th floor with each floor getting progressively harder.
For each set of challenges encountered, there can be different recommended level values seen on the top right corner of the challenge. These challenges are not consecutive so players can take a break between each and purchase items from the salesbot according to their needs.
Randomized Starting Heroes
Through each playthrough, the beginning roster of Sparks and Heroes given will be randomized. Players can receive additional heroes and sparks as rewards from defeating challenges so it is important to pay attention to each challenge's rewards before entering the portal.
Cannot Heal with Coins
Players cannot heal their heroes on the challenge's landing screen with coins just like in the base game. Instead they can purchase items that provide effects, heal etc. nearby and the farther they progress, the more options there will be available to them. The shop also has a chance to discount certain items between each challenge so make sure to check it out from time to time.
Coin Blitz
After winning challenge, a timed coin challenge will appear called a Coin Blitz. Characters will be given a time limit to gather spawning coins in the stage. These coins are important for purchasing items from the salesbot so make sure to gather as much as you can.
Boss Battles on Level 5 and 10
Levels 5 and 10 are always set to be boss battles so make sure your roster of heroes and sparks are strong enough to take them on. After winning the battle at the 5th level the second spark slot will be available for heroes.
The Tower of Doooom Weapon Skins and Premium Mode
After completing the tower for the first time and rescuing Spawny, players will be rewarded with a weapon skin. Premium Mode will also be unlocked and in this mode, players can complete 10 challenges, this time at a higher difficulty, to unlock more weapon skins.

This item grants a random damage bonus (0%, 50%, 100%, 150%) to the user and allies in range for 1 turn. |
The Weakling |
This item gives a random damage reduction bonus (15%, 30%, 50%, 100%) to the user and allies in range for 1 turn. |
The Healer |
This item grants a random healing effect (+10%, +50%, +65%, +100%) to the user and all allies within range. |

Rescue Spawny on the Top Floor
Madame Bwahstrella opens with her vision of The Tower of Doooom. She explains that Spawny is trapped inside the tower and so invites the heroes to traverse 10 floors to save him.
