Starter Team (Balanced)

Hero	Sparks	Role
Luigi	Screech	・Target enemies that are too far away from your other allies. ・Get High Ground and place Luigi on elevated terrain to guarantee critical hits. ・Sparks allow Luigi to repel enemies that get too close for comfort.

Rabbid Mario	Glitter	・Target enemies at close range without damaging your own cover. ・Use high HP to protect your more fragile allies. ・Sparks gather and freeze enemies making it easier for him to hit.

Darkmess Eyes Team

Bowser	Electrogeddon	・Large AEO allow you to destroy several eyes clustered together ・Get Demolisher to destroy cover for Rabbid Luigi's Discruptor. ・Tank hits for the rest of the team. ・Sparks provide additional AOE damage to destroy more eyes.

Rabbid Luigi	Ethering	・Hit several eyes that are farther apart, including some enemies. ・Use Exhaust to weaken enemies who get too close. ・Sparks protect Rabbid Luigi or scatter his opponents.

This team focuses on battles and missions that require you to destroy several Darkmess Eyes scattered around the battlefield. Damage is less important in this case since the focus is on being able to hit as many Darkness Eyes as possible in the least amount of time.

Defense-Focused Team

Bowser	Reflector	・ High HP allows Bowser to withstand attacks. ・Use Rabbid Mechakoopas to keep enemies farther away from your team. ・Sparks provide extra damaging potential without your own destroying cover.

Rabbid Peach	Pulser	・Heal allies to keep their health up throughout the many waves. ・Triple-Troll can take out single isolated targets. ・Sparks provide helpful effects to support allies.
	Exosphere
Rabbid Mario	Glitter	・High HP allows Rabbid Mario to withstand attacks. ・Take out nearby enemies without destroying your own cover. ・Sparks gather and freeze enemies making it easier for him to hit.

This team is best used in battles and missions where you are required to outlast several waves of enemies spawning onto the battlefield. Though offense is important, the main focus is providing a solid enough defense to withstand several attacks.

Bowser	Reflector	・Attack multiple enemies clustered together at long-range. ・Use Rabbid Mechakoopas to prevent enemies from getting too close. ・Get Demolisher to destroy enemy cover for Luigi. ・Sparks provide additional AOE damage to destroy more cover.
	Pyrogeddon
Peach	Starburst	・Decent range and wide AOE. ・Use Team Barrier to protect the team against enemy attacks. ・Use Movement Skills to reach and protect allies even from farther away. ・Sparks protect Peach from damage and provide additional support for the team.
	Ethering

This team focuses more on long-ranged combat and is best used on large stages with multiple elevated levels that make it harder to reach enemies. All characters are able to damage enemies at a distance and support characters have additional movement abilities to reach their allies stationed at different vantage points.
