| Steps to proceed through Toadette Trouble | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Fast travel to the WM Arc spaceship and head north to the broken road where the Riptides are located. |
| 2 |  Head east towards the roaming Magikoopa and head to the incline slope. |
| 3 |  Use the Wave ability on the triangular floor tile next to the Rabbid to form a purple bridge. |
| 4 |  Use the Scan ability on the upper floor on the right to reveal a hidden ladder. |
| 5 |  Climb the ladder and slide down on the slope to reach the Toadette Trouble side quest marker. Interact with the Darkmess Puddle to start the side quest. |
| 6 |  Use Team Jump on two Heroes with a wide movement range. Have one long-range Hero stay back to take out the enemies in the first area. |
| 7 |  Use Zephyrquake on groups of enemies to push them away and inflict extra damage. |
