Who Is Danny?

Danny is seen for the first time in the game when Abby and Manny meet Nora in a field hospitol when just getting back to the stadium. Danny is never seen alive in the game, but we are told that Owen killed him by Isaac.

How Did Danny Die?

Owen
When Abby finally catches up with Owen, he explains what happens. Owen and Danny were clearing a small camp of Scars. After hitting one of them hard on the head, the Scar dropped his weapon and didn't go for it. Owen describes the Scar as being ready implying that the Scar wasn't interested in fighting anymore.

Owen starts to feel guilt from the ordeal and refuses to kill the old Scar. Danny and Owen appear to have gotten into a fight about Owen not killing him, at which point Danny points a gun at Owen. Owen grabs the gun and during the fight for the gun Danny gets shot. Danny is later found by Isaac and the other WLF and tells them that Owen shot him trying to protect Scars before dying.

No, that guy died when Tommy used the interrogating technique which two people's answer to a question must match. So he couldn't have been Danny because Owen said that he is the one who killed Danny in an incident.

The Asian looking fellow who holds Joel down along with Manny may in fact be Danny.
