A well-balanced gun for Barret

This weapon has a good balance of both attack and magic attack stats. This weapon allows you to safely build up ATB from a distance and then fire with magic. In order to do this, you should first focus your SP on getting more materia slots. Prioritize attack and magic attack upgrades in the beginning, and from sub-core II onward, you will want to take advantage of the large HP boosts you can get.
If you find youself running out of MP frequently, get the MP+5 then MP+8 upgrades, and then spend your remaining SP on the other upgrades.
