I love Aerith <3 She's really stunning. When I saw her handling flower to Cloud, I thought that maybe her name is somehow related to a Flower. And, can't believer that Aerith is a represenation meaning Earth or flowers.
It kinda does. But, it's what they want.
Final Fantasy IV to Final Fantasy IX used ATB while Final Fantasy X through to Final Fantasy XIII used another battle system.
ATB system ain't bad in my opinion. Think it brings the thrill in the game.. maybe also, an add-on to spice things up? since the characters (not only in ff but in a general sense) are not equal, the game pushes you to create a strategy or you're doomed.
Where do I find the Moogle Merchant?
yeah, but there are no clear indication whether they're the main ship or CloudxAerith. like, who knows? square doesn't give it away.

but what they're doing here is kinda different. and yeah, expect the Jessie screen time a lot.

yes,.. hmm maybe they're also using the turn-based for old graphics ff games.
sadly I think they've pretty much moved on from the turn-based gameplay for at least final fantasy, but other games like the bravely series keeps the turn-based tradition alive

The stories of each game aren't connected with one another so you could play whichever one you want first
i see. so, that's what they're doing. hmm.. i personally love the turn-based so i'm not sure about the changes. but i like FF games so i'm giving them a chance with their experiments.

well can't say for sure but that's what I think or at least it was their way of putting more action in the older games
hI everyone, are the side quests worth it? i wnat to focus on the main quests but i'm afraid i might skip something, if i didn't do the side quests here.

yeah always thought atb was their way of trying to become real time but they couldn't yet due to the limitations of the technology back then

I never really liked ATB. I started with 10 and tried out the earlier games but never could get the hang of it. Heck I prefer the remake's battle system over ATB
If we're talking about covers, there's this really good cover of Eyes on Me from FF8 but it's a guitar arrangement rather than piano
It's probably the best implementation of turn-based combat since you could actually strategize properly with it

A lot of people also misinterpret Tidus' laugh scene too. They chalk it up to bad voice acting but he's intentionally laughing weirdly because that's sorta what the scene calls for
