didn't Uematsu write one song here? Hollow?

2453 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

they must have done tons of work here. well, music like other game elements plays an important role in the game. when you're watching a cut scene and the melody drops, it just feels soughing (depending on the situational scene)

And, the composer (Mitsuto Suzuki) hints the popularity of interactive music. I think they were really pressured about music changes since the original music were all well-received.

I believe they talked about this before. The Prelude sounds similar in the remake. Or At least, that's what I heard. The producer, Yoshinori Kitase created a video before with the same original soundtrack. But, the game's co-director (Toriyama) said it should be re-purposed to follow a modern approach.

This pains my soul in the best way

I'm in love with Aerith!!! It's really nostalgic. That familiar background music, camera zooming in to Midgar then showing Aerith. Just Perfect

2448 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

but the modernization of music. it's possible the music behind the FF7 remake did a little magic. so yeah, maybe you heard a little diversity in there and it's not your imagination.

Final Fantasy VII was one of those rare games where everything, Music, Storyline and Play came together to create something truly epic.

i miss the 90s sometimes. such a different era

2445 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

There are changes sure.. and I know people are complaining about the story but I'm not a story fan, I'm more of character/s fanatic. They're designs.. How they grew up so fast. Look at them now.

2444 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I'm 42 years old and I teared up, playing the demo. The music sounds really nostalgic. I'm breathing and alive.

2443 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

The new players wouldn't understand but let them be. At least, they have the remake to enjoy.

2442 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

the memories we had when we were young..

2441 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

not sure if they have all soundtracks from the original, adapted into the remake version. i'm still half-way in the game.. but i think the prelude is same as the original and also the bombing mission or did they tweak it a bit? sounds a little different.

I remember walking through the mall with my mother and walked by a electronics boutique and there was a life size cardboard display of cloud. I wished I could have it.

2439 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Can we talk about the soundtrack of FF7 Remake? I'm wondering if they have the same soundtracks in the original.

2438 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

your feelings are vaild. if you like it just the way it is, then so be it :) nothing wrong with that.

2437 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

i don't really care about what other say. as long as i'm satisfied with the game then it's more than enough for me.

2436 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Yes. We have different view points. The developers for sure will receive criticisms with regards to the story. That's to be expected. And most of which will definitely come from players who had played the original game.

2435 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

i'M Not upset because i didn't play the original. i don't know how they feel. i just like this remake version. i like evrything about it.

2434 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

to fill in the gaps.. aww sounds like total fillers :[ i remember watching anime with several filler episode and it kinda sucks. i always wish for them to bring the main story back on its track.

2433 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

well, like others are saying here. some die-hard fans are upset while some are not that affected. it just differs in opinion i guess.

2432 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

nice, if you say so :)

2431 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

yeah, probably that's what happened. and yeah, they can say things like they were planning to do these and that but didn't really make it happen. maybe, they changed their minds.

2430 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

That's why it's a remake not a remaster

2429 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Yeah I read some about the interview and it says "There were a lot of parts in between sections of Midgar that were implied, but never seen" I guess its because of that.

2428 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I think the developers just did what they think is better for the remake. They stretched the original story to fill in the gaps. Honestly, everyone has their own opinion and they will not have the 100% of the audience.

2427 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I saw a streamer play it who never played the original, and he did say he really liked the story.

2426 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I personally had no issues with it either and I played the original one. Its not a remastered so I'm not affected with the changes..

2425 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Maybe, what they've expected are answers to their questions. That kind of tweak in the story. Not the changes they experienced in the remake version.
