Dragon Quest 2 HD-2D Remake (DQ2)

How to Beat Togrus Immensus

Add to Watchlist

Togrus Immensus is a boss encountered in the Dragon Quest 2 HD-2D Remake (DQ2). See how to beat this boss, the best equipment for the fight, and the boss' stats and moves here.

How to Beat Togrus Immensus

Always Have Kabuff Active

Since the boss only uses physical attacks, it's recommended to always have Kabuff active to increase everyone's defence. This way, you can stay safe and minimize the damage that the party takes.

Kabuff Effect and Level Learned

Reduce Attack with Attack Attacker

To add an extra layer of safety, you can also use Attack Attacker to reduce the boss's damage output. Normally, Kabuff alone is enough to survive the fight, but using Attack Attacker as well makes the fight a lot easier.

Attack Attacker Effect and Level Learned

Use Fizzle When They're at Half HP

When the boss is around half HP, they will use Oomph to heavily increase their damage output. If you can time it correctly, using Fizzle on the boss will prevent them from casting the spell, making the second half of the fight safer.

Fizzle Effect and Level Learned

Wear Anti-Confusion Equipment

The boss has an attack that can confuse your party members, which will make the fight a lot harder than it needs to be. To prevent this from happening, it's recommended that everyone should wear anti-confusion equipment, such as Rings of Clarity.
