This is a guide for where to find all 5 sigils in Dragon Quest 2 HD-2D Remake (DQ2). See the locations of all 5 sigils in the game, as well as how to use them after.

- Sun Sigil - Fire Shrine
- Moon Sigil - Dirkandor
- Water Sigil - Moonahan
- Soul Sigil - Tantegel Castle
- Star Sigil - Lighthouse
Sun Sigil - Shrine of Fire

The Sun Sigil is obtainable on the northeastern edge of the Fire Shrine after completing the events at Burrowell. There aren't any boss fights here so it's recommended to grab this sigil first out all five since its effect allows spells and abilities to land critical hits!
Moon Sigil - Dirkandor

To get the Moon Sigil, you will need to talk to the King of Dirkandor and complete his trials by defeating sets of monsters.
Water Sigil - Moonahan

The Water Sigil is obtainable after defeating the Sinister Mister boss found in the Thief's Hideout. You can access this by going to Moonahan and using the Misplaced Key you obtained from the Den of Thieves on the locked gate below.
Soul Sigil - Den of Iniquity

The Soul Sigil is dropped by Mariella once you defeat her in Den of Iniquity, found in the Ocean Floor.
Star Sigil - Lighthouse

The Star Sigil is obtainable after defeating the Nekomancer in the Lighthouse. To trigger the fight, interact with the old man at the entrance of the lighthouse and meet him again at the location of the Sigil.
How to Use Sigils
Contributes in Battle
| Sigil | Battle Effect |
|---|---|
| Sun | Enables spells and abilities to land critical hits. |
| Water | Improves Items used in battle |
| Soul | Increases Maximum HP Enables Souped-Up Skills |
| Moon | Increases effectivity of Spells. |
| Star | Recover MP when Defending |
Sigils have effects in combat and can aid the party when used. Note that you do not need to equip sigils to activate their effects as only having them in your inventory is sufficient enough.
Used to Obtain the Eye of Rubiss
Once you’ve gathered every Sigil, head to the Shrine of Rubiss, located underwater, and awaken Rubiss. After doing so, she’ll grant you the Eye of Rubiss as a reward.
