How to Beat the King of Dirkandor
- Spam Kabuff and Attack Attacker
- Avoid Chant of Champions with Kaclang

Spam Kabuff and Attack Attacker
The King of Dirkandor uses powerful physical attacks, making the defense increase Kabuff mandatory for the fight. Aside from that, you can also use Attack Attacker to reduce his damage output, but it isn't guaranteed to take effect.
Avoid Chant of Champions with Kaclang
During the fight, the King of Dirkandor can use Chant of Champions to heavily boost his stats, including his crit rate. Whenever he does this, it's recommended to use Kaclang to make your party immune to attacks and wait until the buff expires.
Do note, however, that using Kaclang will remove your party buffs, so make sure to use Kabuff immediately after the effect ends.

Maintain High HP on All Characters
Since the King of Dirkandor can act multiple times a turn, it's best to have your party members at full HP as much as possible. This way, you won't have to worry about anyone getting killed in case he decides to use multiple attacks on a single target.
Use Multihit Attacks
For this boss fight, the most effective attacks to use are the ones that hit multiple times. It's recommended to use either the Prince of Midenhall's Multifists or the Prince of Cannock's Souped-Up Gyrfalcon Slash to deal massive damage.
Although, if you wish to use Gyrfalcon Slash, it's recommended to use Dodgy Dance so that the prince doesn't have to be below 50% HP to use the move.

Bring MP Recovering Items
If you're using high MP cost spells and abilities often, like Multiheal and Gyrfalcon Slash, you can easily use up a character's MP during this fight. Make sure to bring MP-restoring items, like Sage's Elixirs, so that you don't run out of MP.
