| Star Sigil | Key | A yellow stone engraved with intricate patterns. Enables the replenishment of MP during battle. |

Each of the different types of items in Dragon Quest 2 has a distinct function. Most can be used in and out of combat, and a few are not meant to be used at all, instead playing a role in the story.

When your inventory is full, you can free up space by transferring items from your inventory to banks found in the locations listed in the table. It's best to store items that you'll only use in specific situations in banks and only withdraw them when needed.
