How to Beat the Midnight Manguini and Goyling

Apply Defensive Buffs

Between the two enemies, they can use both physical and magical attacks to hurt the party. To counter this, it's recommended to have Kabuff and Magic Barrier active at all times to help minimize the damage that the party takes.

All Buffing Spells and Abilities

Defeat the Goyling First

Since the Goyling has an AoE attack, you should aim to kill them first. This way, the damage won't be spread out, and you won't have to scramble healing multiple characters a turn.

Try to Stay Fully Healed

Occasionally, the Manguini can act twice per turn. If you're unlucky, they can kill someone by criting and hitting the same target twice. To prevent this from happening, try to keep everyone's HP topped up so that you don't get caught off guard by an unlucky KO.
