MP is a point system in-game that serves as the mana required to use spells. Magic-users such as the Princess of Moonbrooke will heavily rely on MP, as she primarily uses spells during combat. This makes MP consumption an important factor to consider once she joins your party.
List of All Spells and Abilities
The best way to increase the Hero's MP is by levelling up. This will also increase their other stats as well, making them a lot more effective in battle outside of just an MP increase.
EXP Farm: How to Level Up Fast
You can also use a Seed of Magic to increase your base MP by 3–5 points. These can be farmed by defeating specific enemies in battle or using the Dig ability to collect seeds.
It is recommended to use them on the Prince of Cannock and the Princess of Moonbrooke since the Prince of Midenhall can't cast spells.

You can recover MP during battle by using spells and abilities learned by your party members. Some spells or abilities gradually restore your MP, while others require stealing MP from enemies you're facing during battle.
Learn which spells are the most effective when restoring MP, and use them to help keep your MP reserves at a maximum.
List of All Spells and Abilities
Resting at an Inn is one of the most straightforward ways to recover MP. If you need to restore your MP, simply head to any nearby town and rest at its inn.

| Prayer Ring | A pious band that can be used to restore a small amount of MP. However, be warned: it's likely to break if called upon. |
| Magic Water | Restores around 30 MP to all party members. Consumed upon use. |
| Sage's Elixir | Restores around 100 MP to all party members. Consumed upon use. |
| Elfin Elixir | Completely restores MP to all party members. Consumed upon use. |
You can also use the items listed above to recover MP for your characters. While the Prayer Ring has unlimited uses, there's a high chance it will break from time to time. Make sure to stock up on them if you plan to keep recovering MP!
