How to Beat the Nekomancer

Focus Down the Gremlins First

The most threatening part of this fight are the Gremlins' ability to put party members to sleep. To prevent this from happening, it's recommended to prioritize killing them first.

Thankfully, they don't have too much HP when compared to the boss, so they should go down quickly.

Maintain the Magic Barrier Buff

The Nekomancer is primarily a magic attacker, making Magic Barrier an amazing counter to their attacks. Try to keep this buff active at all times so that the damage that the party takes is minimized.

An alternate strategy you could take for this fight is to try to apply Fizzle on the Nekomancer to prevent them from casting spells. This way, it's forced to use its weaker physical attacks, which in turn nullifies it as a threat.
