Listed above are the currently supported platforms for both Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake.
Standard Vs. Collector's Edition
Dragon Quest 1 amd 2 HD-2D Remake comes with two editions: Standard Edition, which comes with just the base game, or Collector's Edition, which comes with the physical copy of the game as well as acrylic block sets, in-game items, and digital wallpapers.
The Standard Edition will be available for both the digital and physical version of the game, while the Collector's Edition will only be available as a physical copy for consoles.
The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, and the Collector's Edition is priced at $149.99 on all platforms.
Available on PlayStation 5
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake is available on Playstation 5 digitally and physically. Both the Standard Edition and Collector's Edition is available for the platform.
Not Available on the PlayStation 4
According to the PS Store, Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake will only be available for Playstation 5, and no other announcements have been made for the game being available for Playstation 4.
Available on the Nintendo Switch
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake is available to Switch players through a physical version only. Both the Standard Edition and Collector's Edition will be available for the platform and players can purchase the physical copy through their local retailer.
Available on Steam
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake is also available on Steam for PC players. However, only the Standard Edition of the game is available for Steam players.

Note: The official recommended settings for this game aren't released yet, and these are based off the DQ3 HD-2D Remake.
Steam Version Will be Released Later
As a note, the Steam version of the game is released later than the console versions, depending on the region that you live in. If you want to play the game as soon as possible, it's recommended to buy a console copy instead.
Available on the XBox Store
XBox players can play Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake through the XBox App on their PC and consoles.
The game is available for purchase through the XBox Store for the digital Standard Edition, or through the Square Enix website for the physical Collector's Edition.
Not Available on XBox One
Unfortunately, XBox One has not be listed as a platform Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D Remake will be available on. The XBox store only lists PC and XBox Series X and S as their supported platform.
Are Dragon Quests 1 and 2 HD-2D on Nintendo Switch 2?
Available on Nintendo Switch 2 on Release
Both Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D will be available for physical purchase for the Switch 2 upon release. Players can purchase their game from their local retailer if they're interested in playing it on their Switch 2.
