The Princess of Cannock will temporarily join your party when you're looking for the Prince of Cannock at the start of the game. After finding her brother she will leave the party until you gain access to the Ship.

After the events conclude in Beran, the Prince of Cannock will be attacked and will fall ill forcing him to leave the party. After finding the cure, he will rejoin the party with his sister the Princess of Cannock.
She will join your party at level 20, and will be a permanent member afterward. Since she is already joining at a high level, it wont be hard to integrate her into your party since there will be no need to catch her up.
