How to Beat Hargon
- Don't Bother Casting Fizzle
- Use Achilles' Wheel
- Don't Bother Casting Fizzle
- Have Midenhall and Moonbrooke as the Damage Dealers
- Aim to Stay at High or Full HP
Apply Defensive Buffs
Begin the fight by applying defensive buffs to your party. Spells like Kabuff and Magic Barrier should do the trick and should be enough to keep the team healthy.

Use Brownie Boost
It’s also recommended to keep Brownie Boost active at all times, since it not only boosts your defenses but also helps you recover MP and HP during the fight.
Use Achilles' Wheel
Most debuff spells are not effective against Hargon, but if you really want to debuff him, you can use Achilles' Wheel.

Don't Bother Casting Fizzle
While you can cast Fizzle to seal away Hargon's spells, it has a low chance of working. Instead of wasting turns trying to get the spell to take effect, it's recommended to go all out and attack the boss instead.
Have Midenhall and Moonbrooke as the Damage Dealers
If you need to go on the offensive, you can use the Prince of Midenhall and the Prince of Moonbrooke to deal damage. You can also use Wild Side beforehand to let them attack twice. Midenhall provides powerful physical attacks, while Moonbrooke mostly relies on strong spells like Kaboom.

Aim to Stay at High or Full HP
Hargon has a high Speed stat, meaning that unless you also have high Speed, he will always act before the party. If one of your party members is around half HP, you should preemptively heal them so that Hargon doesn't have a chance to kill them next turn.
