Dragon Quest 2 - How to Revive Party Members

Revive party members by casting Kazing, going to a church, or using an Yggdrasil Leaf in Dragon Quest 2 HD-2D Remake (DQ2). See all the way to revive dead party members here.

How to Revive Dead Party Members

Cast Zing or Kazing

The best way to revive a fallen party member is by casting Zing or Kazing on them. However, these two spells can only learned by either the Prince of Cannock or Princess Moonbrooke, and you'll need to use a different method if they aren't at that level yet or they're dead.

You Can Also Use Zin as a Last Resort

You can also try using Zin when reviving allies, but it isn't recommended given that it only revives a party member with 1 HP. Use Zin as a last resort when there are no options left to revive your party.

All Recovery Spells and Abilities

Select Resurrection at a Church

The other main way to revive party members is by talking to a priest at a church and selecting the "Resurrection" option. This will cost 5 gold multiplied by the character's level, and it can get very expensive at later levels.

What Happens When You Die?

Restart From Last Save Point and Earn the Wipeout Bronze Trophy

When your entire party dies, you will need to restart your progress from the last save point you performed in your game. You also lose half your gold and the items you've consumed during your last battle.

Additionally, getting your whole team wiped out for the first time will earn you the Wipeout Bronze Trophy.
