How to Get Magic Key
Defeat Toadalitarian Boss
You can obtain the Magic Key after gaining access to the Ocean Floor. Travel to Mersea and enter the Mermaid’s Sanctuary, where you’ll face the Toadalitarian boss.
Get Magic Key from the Queen of the Mermaids
Once you’ve defeated Toadalitarian and his minions, return to Mersea. After a short cutscene, the Queen of the Mermaids will reward you with the Magic Key.

The Magic Key is used to open blue locked doors and chests found throughout the world. This is one of three keys that the player can find, with the Thief's Key and Ultimate Key opening the other two types of locked doors and chests.
