How to Beat Abysmerelda
Use Brownie Boost and Magic Barrier
Start the turn by raising your defenses with Brownie Boost and Magic Barrier. Brownie Boost can help restore your MP and HP, while Magic Barrier prevents you from taking too much damage from spells, which Abysmerelda can deal in huge amounts.
Magic Barrier Effect and Level Learned
Equip Banishing Bell
Abysmerelda can also cast several spells that inflict status conditions, making Banishing Bell one of the most recommended accessories to equip on your party members. This should prevent your team from getting inflicted with status conditions!
All Status Effects and How to Cure Them
Bring Recovery Items
Abysmerelda will also prevent your team from using healing spells. This makes it necessary to stock up on medicine or any healing items before the battle, as this will be your only source of recovery moving forward.
Use Dragon Slash
When given a chance to go on the offensive, use Dragon Slash against Abysmerelda to deal huge damage. You can boost this further with Oomph and Egg On to increase the damage output.
