Challenge Battle Event [October 2024]

The Challenge Battle event is Gundam UC Engage's series of missions where mobile suits that meet certain requirements will have an advantage! Read on to see the new banners, gameplay modes, and rewards the event has in store.

Challenge Battle Event Overview

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage's Challenge Battle Event started on October 18, 2024, giving all players a chance to win Diamonds, UR Custom Tickets, and 125 blueprints and pieces for the new UR units from the Gundam Requiem For Vengeance series. The event will run until November 1, 2024.

Clear a Series of Missions by Using Specific Mobile Suits

Challenge Battle is a series of missions where specific mobile suits are far more suitable to use than others.

This time, suits with the unit categories One Year War and High Firepower will have an advantage in battle, so make sure your teams will be made up of mobile suits with these categories!

"One Year War" units get a 50% damage boost, 50% damage reduction, and 100,000 max damage. Meanwhile "High Firepower" mobile suits will get a 75% damage boost from the start of battle. On top of this, all Challenge Battle missions will have Blue-type enemies only, so bring Green-type mobile suits to have another advantage. Units like The-O, Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility, ZZ Gundam, Zaku III Custom (TWA), and the brand new Gundam EX should be able to get you far in this event.

How To Clear The Extra Stage

The Extra stage of this event mode is very challenging, even with a team of over 2 million BP. One way to cheese this stage is to borrow a powerful The-O from a friend or clanmate and place only 1 Red-type level 1 unit alongside it. You'll place the Red-type in front of the GM and let it die right away. You won't place anyone else with The-O so it can take aggro from all 6 opponents. The more attacks it takes, the faster it'll get the stacks it gets from its on-evade skill effects, and the stronger it gets. Position The-O to fight the GM in the middle because that unit is capable of healing its allies, and you want to eliminate the enemy team's source of healing as soon as possible.

This strategy will only work with very powerful copies of The-O. If it's not strong enough, it'll still survive the battle, but it won't be able to take out the foes within the time limit so you'll still lose.
