| ① | Head to the left side of the area and defeat the five hedgehogs to activate the first Battle Flag. |

| ① | From the first Battle Flag, head straight to the newly opened path and reach the waterfall. |

| ② | Defeat the three mermaid-like enemies in the area. Note that a tiger will spawn after you defeat the mermaid-like enemies. |
| ③ | Climb to the top of the rock and activate the second Battle Flag. |

| ① | Defeat the five hedghogs and activate the first Battle Flag. |
| ② | Defeat the three mermaid-like enemies and the tiger. Climb up the rock to find the second Battle Flag. |
| ③ | Defeat the three hedgehogs and the two giant fire hedgehogs. Defeat Zhuyan that will appear once you defeat the hedgehogs. |
| ④ | Talk to Liu Bei at the bottom of the hill to clear the side mission. |
You can clear The Valorous Trio by following the linear path and defeating the enemies along the way. At the end of the path, you'll face Zhuyan so be sure to replenish your recovery potions first at a Battle Flag before facing the boss.
Many of Zhuyan's attacks have a slow buildup, which you can time easily with a Deflect. In particular, you can deflect his backflip charging attack to reduce his spirit gauge at a massive amount and inflict addtional damage.
