| ① | You can find the first Battle Flag at the starting area. |

| ① | Head straight from the starting area and go up the stairs on the right once you see the lantern on the swamp. Optional: You can find a treasure chest if you break the bamboo grove on the right side of the stairs. |

| ② | Go up the next set of stairs until you reach an open area with spiders. Jump on top of the rock behind the rock with a spider on it to find the first Marking Flag. |
| ① | Follow the path on the cliff to the right of the lantern until you reach an area with a tiger and another enemy. |

| ② | Defeat the two enemies and activate the Battle Flag where the tiger was found. |
| ① | From the second Battle Flag, head to path on its left side leading to a bamboo grove. |

| ② | Head right from the first spider and cut through the two bamboos that are blocking the path. |
| ③ | Find the second Marker Flag on the left side and activate it. |
| ① | From the second Marker Flag, head for the exit to reach the river area. |

| ② | Turn left to find the Battle Flag that you can activate. Note that there is a boss battle past this battle flag. |
Planting Marking Flag is one of the methods that you can use to increase your Morale rank. Increasing your Morale ranks lets you deal more damage and receive less damage from enemies.
Morale and Fortitude Effects and How to Increase
Suanyu's attacks are difficult to deflect at close range, so it is recommended to fight him at a distance and use a hit-and-run tactic.
One way to deplete his health is to deflect the lightning attack at the right time. This will stun the boss for a few seconds, giving you time to follow up with more attacks before keeping distance again.
