Critical Blows

Stance Lunge

Zhao Yun points his spear towards the player before executing a dashing lunge attack.

Rotating Thrust

Zhao Yun rotates his spear above his head and then thrusts it at the player.

Rising Slash

Zhao Yun swings uses the momentum of an upwards strike to leap into the air and swing his spear downwards at the player.

Spear Vault

Zhao Yun uses his spear as a pole vault and launches himself into the air to execute a downwards slam attack.

How to Beat Zhao Yun (General Tips)

Wait For Fatal Strikes

Zhao Yun has very narrow openings during his attack strings. There is almost no delay between his attacks even after successfully parrying them.

Rely on dealing damage via Fatal Strikes instead of trying to push for damage using normal attacks.

Cheese Strategy

You can lure Zhao Yun into a loop of repeatedly jumping on and off the boulder with a broken bridge.

As he jumps back and forth to follow you, use Wizardry like Venomous Discharge to deal damage to him.
