Best Settings and Controls
When an enemy is locked on to, the camera automatically follows them no matter how much you move, so you no longer have to worry about operating the camera yourself. All your attacks will target that enemy.
It is recommended to always lock-on when fighting enemies, since it makes combat much easier without having to worry about the camera.
When a lock-on target is staggered, it's easier to spot because the lock-on mark changes into an orange color. This enemy is vulnerable to a powerful attack such as a Martial Arts skill.
When you can use a Fatal Strike on an enemy, the marker turns red instead!
How to Use Fatal Strikes | How to Do a Sneak Attack
Sometimes there are areas where enemies might come to ambush you. Pressing Lock-On when you enter these areas or turning into suspicious corners will let you spot these enemies and react accordingly.
Lock-On targets will also stay focused by the camera even if they get blocked by visual effects or the environment.
