How to Dash

Press the Dash Button as You Run

You can dash by pressing the L Analog Stick (PS and Xbox) or Shift (PC). Instead of holding the dash button down, press it once then move to continue dashing.

No Autorun Mechanic

Wo Long does not have auto-run so you have to press the dash button again every time you stop moving. This is kind of annoying but you have to get used to the game's movement mechanic.

Dash Techniques

Move Faster Out of Combat

Obviously, dashing allows you to move faster while running. So it is best for you to get used to it in order to traverse the stages more quickly.

Move Away From Enemies Without Consuming Spirit

When dashing in combat, you can move away from dangerous situations. Unlike Evasion, dashing does not deplete your spirit gauge. So if you want to conserve your spirit, dash away from enemies instead!

Combat Mechanics Guide

Perform a Dash Attack

You can perform a dash attack by pressing the normal attack button while dashing. So if you spot an enemy while dashing, try attacking them with a dash attack!
