Fire ★★★ |
Fire is the main stat for this build, so invest the most amount of points into Fire to increase your Spirit gain and decrease Spirit consumed by Martial Arts. |
---|---|
Earth ★ |
A little Earth is helpful for increasing your equipment weight limit and improving Spirit gain on deflects. |
Wood ★ |
A little Wood is also good for increasing your HP and making this build a bit more survivable. Wood virtue also decreases Spirit lost when attacked. |

The Iron Sword is a good early game weapon that scales well with Fire and also affects your deflect spirit consumption, which is good for a melee class.
For the mid to late game, a Slashing Spear is a good weapon for a Fire build, so go with the Bronze Spear when you can, but ideally, the Iron Spetum is the best weapon for this build, since it has high base attack, and scales amazingly well with Fire.

Set Bonus: Lu Bu, the Mightiest among Men
|
Ranged weapons aren't essential for this build but it would be helpful to have the Flying General's Bow, whose Set Bonus buffs your Martial Arts damage and Spirit consumption. The Yellow-Shouldered Crossbow is good for the early game, when you're working toward the Flying General's Bow.

This build doesn't need to use too many spells, but the most important one is Overpower Burst, which greatly increases damage of your next Martial Arts move, which is extremely helpful for quickly bringing down enemies's HP and Spirit.
Flame weapon is there to occasionally give your attacks a little extra fire. Spirit Fervor and Enhanced Defense can be used before entering boss battle areas.
Xiezhi | Phase: Fire |
|
---|---|---|
Favor | Effect | |
① | Martial Arts Damage | 3.9% / 7.8% |
② | Martial Arts Spirit Consumption | -2.60% |
③ | Negative Effect Duration | -3.60% |
④ | Slow on Enemy Upon Martial Arts |
Xiezhi is the perfect Divine Beast for this build, as it increases your Martial Arts effectiveness, allowing you to hit harder and use less spirit on the battlefield.
Use one Martial Art, then recover Spirit with a few regular hits. Rinse and repeat to make the enemy/boss much easier to crit.
Just because this is an offensive build doesn't mean you don't have to parry. Deflecting enemy hits is always necessary for keeping your Spirit high and their Spirit low.
When enemies and bosses have turned their aggro onto your teammates, that is when you strike with all you have.
