Talk to Woman in Hidden Village

The Missing Husband Sidequest is a questline involving a Hermit woman searching for her husband. This quest can be initiated by talking to her in the Hidden Village; she is located by going down the vine to the left of the Battle Flag.

This quest involves finding her in three locations and finding her husband at the final location. Note that you need to visit her in the correct order presented below; you won't find her at the second place if you haven't visited her at the first place, for example.

Find Woman at Specific Sub Missions

The Uninhibited Heart

Your next meeting with the woman is in the The Uninhibited Heart Sub Mission. She is located in front of a silo near the second Battle Flag.

Interact with her twice, and she will ask for some Copper; give her some to progress the quest.

Let's Make Our Armor Shine!

The woman can be found next in the Let's Make Our Armor Shine! Sub Mission. She will be in the lower deck in one of the ships.

You'll have to give her some Copper again after interacting with her twice to progress the quest.

Let's Make Our Halberds Shine!

The woman's third location is in the Let's Make Our Halberds Shine Sub Mission. She is in an area surrounded by wooden rubble, near the required chest for this mission.

Like the other two locations, you'll need to interact with her twice and give her Copper to progress here as well.

The Husband is in the Taoist's Backyard

To complete this sidequest, you will need to have completed another sidequest involving another Hidden Village NPC, the Hermit Taoist looking for her keys.

After finding the three keys, you'll be able to access the Taoist's backyard, where the husband can be found meditating. Speak with him, then reload the area and find the woman at her initial area to complete the quest.

Quest Rewards

Obtain 200,000 Copper as a Reward

Upon talking to the wife after you find her husband, she will reward you with a whopping 200,000 Copper, making all the Copper you gave her and the difficulty of the sidequest all worth it!
