You can customize your equipment's Special Effects by spending Jewel Fragments and Copper at Zhu Xia's Blacksmith Shop. You can choose to extract or embed Special Effects from weapons and armor and customize your build.
Each type of equipment has a specific number of Special Effect slots that determine how many effects you can add to it.
Some common weapons and armor come with their default Special Effects found on the first slot. You normally cannot remove or replace default special effects, and only be able to add or remove the other slots. However, you can remove or replace all Special Effects slots for most weapons and armor that come with Set Bonuses.
Steps to Add or Remove Special Effects | |
---|---|
1 | Open the Blacksmith Menu by Talking to Zhu Xia and select Embedment in the Blacksmith Menu. |
2 | Select the desired Weapon or Armor and click on Choose Embedding Slot. |
3 | Hover over the slot that you want to add or remove. Then select Embed to add, or Extract to remove. |
