Normal Attacks

Cross Slash

Liu Bei pounces on the player and slashes both his blades in a cross pattern.

Spinning Slash

Liu Bei slides forward and then executes two horizontal slashes.

Slash Combo

Liu Bei performs a series of vertical slashes.

Critical Blows

Twin Dash

Liu Bei goes into a crouching stance and then dashes towards the player.

Dragon's Flight

Liu Bei leaps through the air and twirls his body with both his blades extended.

Rapid Approach

Liu Bei rushes towards the player and attempts to strike them with an upwards attack.

Blade Dance

Liu Bei continuously twirls his blades before executing an attack with both swords.

How to Beat Liu Bei (First Encounter) (General Tips)

Wait For Fatal Strikes

Just like Zhao Yun, Liu Bei has very narrow openings during his attack strings. There is almost no delay between his attacks even after successfully parrying them.

Rely on Fatal Strikes as your main source of damage, and use normal attacks sparringly.

Punish Cross Slash

Successfully deflecting Cross Slash gives you a short window for one or two attacks on Liu Bei.

Blade Dance Mechanics

As Liu Bei performs his Blade Dance attack, take note that the first few attacks are considered normal attacks and can be guarded. Once you see his body display the red flash of a critical blow, prepare to deflect or parry.
