Yan Liang Movesets

Normal Attacks

・Dive Cut ・Tripple Slash ・Chain Slash ・Guillotine Slash ・Swipe Thrust

Dive Cut

Yan Liang performs a horizontal slash while holding his sword in his mouth. This attack can be used up to three times in a row, with the final cut having a small AoE effect.

Triple Slash

Yan Liang performs two horizontal slashes before finishing with a downwards slash.

Tongue Slash

Yan Liang gathers momentum by twirling his body before throwing his sword at the player, and pulling it back with his tongue.

Guillotine Slash

Yan Liang takes his blade in both hands and brings it downwards in a straight motion akin to a guillotine. This attack may sometimes be performed twice in a row.

Swipe Thrust

A quick combo that consists of a spinning horizontal slash into a thrust.

Critical Blows

・Slaugterhouse Kick ・Dive Bomb

Slaughterhouse Kick

Yan Liang stands up, propels himself forward, and delivers a roundhouse kick.

Dive Bomb

A high jump followed by a sword throw into a dive bomb attack.

Wen Chou Movesets

Normal Attacks

・Hammer Slam ・Swing Combo ・Hammer Spin ・Aerial Slam

Hammer Slam

Wen Chou begins this attack by slamming his hammer into the ground infront of him. He then punches the back of his hammer to create a shockwave.

Swing Combo

Wen Chou slams his weapon infront of him three times consecutively.

Hammer Spin

A spinning hammer attack the speeds up slightly each time the hammer is coming towards the player.

Aerial Slam

Wen Chou leaps into the air and swings his hammer towards the player.

Critical Blows

・Forward Smash Combo ・Forearm Bash

Forward Smash Combo

Wen Chou swings his hammer and smashes the ground infront of him. He then uses his forward momentum to flip and repeat this attack up to two more times.

Forearm Bash

Wen Chou braces his forearm before charging a medium distance towards the player to perform a backhanded attack.

How to Beat Yan Liang and Wen Chou (General Tips)

Focus on defeating Yan Liang first

Yan Liang moves quickly and will aggressively attack you even from a distance. So focus on defeating him before turning your attention to Wen Chou.

Opening Opportunity

The duo's opening attack has Wen Chou throwing Yan Liang towards the player. Take this chance to focus on Yan Liang while Wen Chou is still a good distance away.

Defeat Yan Liang twice

In this battle, whichever boss goes down first will be revived by the other. This revival only happens once, and the Spirit Gauge of the revived boss is heavily reduced.

Business as usual

The defining characteristic of this boss battle is that there are two threats to deal with. By separating them from each other, and dealing with them one-by-one, you could treat them like you would any other enemy.

Counter and deflect the attacks you're familiar with, and punish whenever you can.
