Movesets

Suzaku

An attack that summons Suzaku and releases a wave of flames around Cao Cao. This attack also enchants Cao Cao's blade with flame.

Cao Cao will use this attack once his HP drops below a certain threshhold.

Critical Blows

Spinning Slash

Cao Cao raises his sword and then executes a quick spinning slash.

Rolling Slash

Cao Cao hops into the air and brings his sword down on the player.

Rushing Thrust

Cao Cao grips his blade in both hands and lunges it towards the player.

Rapid Approach

Cao Cao rapidly approaches the player in attempt to hit them with an upwards attack.

How to Beat Cao Cao (General Tips)

Guard Over Parry

Unless you're familiar with Cao Cao's normal attacks, it can be difficult to properly time your parries against them. Since they don't do too much damage, consider using normal guard for normal attacks.

Parry Critical Blows

Cao Cao's critical blows are easy to differentiate and anticipate due to how unique each attack animation is. Parry these attacks and punish when able.
