Double Swing

Lu Bu swings horizontally twice. This move can either have no delay or a two-second delay on the second swing. The second swing can be harder to anticipate and parry, so feel free to block instead.
Heavy Swing and Smash

Lu Bu does either a Heavy Swing, which can lead into a Heavy Smash, or a Heavy Smash first, which leads into a Heavy Swing. These can be easily deflected, as they have a long windup.
Forward Thrust
Lu Bu twirls his spear, then lunges at you with a charging thrust. This move is easily parried.
Ground Thrust
Lu Bu twirls his spear above his head with both hands, then thrusts it into the ground in an AoE attack. This move can be parried.
Backstep Swings
Lu Bu hops backward and swings upward twice. These swings can be easily parried, with the right timing.
Spinning Jump Slash
Lu Bu gears up for a spin, then jumps into the air, swinging his spear. Then, he lands on the ground with a smash, also inflicting damage. Both attacks can be parried.
Foot Stomps
Lu Bu stomps his feet twice. Both attacks can be easily parried with the right timing.
Fireballs
Lu Bu launches up to 4 fireballs at you, while encircling the battlefield. Parry all of these for a large boost to your Spirit Gauge.
Critical Blows

High Jump Smash
Lu Bu jumps very high into the air, then smashes on you with a critical blow. Perfect deflect this to immobilize him for a while.
Giant Fireball
Lu Bu summons a giant fireball and launches it at you. Parry this to return it to him. Then, he will return it to you. Repeat this a few times in a game of ping pong that speeds up until he gets hit in the end.
Spear Drag Charge
Lu Bu charges at you while dragging his spear on the ground. Deflect at the last second to avert damage. Lu Bu will also follow up this attack with another spear drag charge, so watch out.
Fire-Imbued 2nd Phase
Fire Imbue
When Lu Bu is at half health, or when enough time has passed, he will imbue his whole body with fire. This will make his every attack have a fire effect attached to it. The fire effect cannot be canceled or dispelled and will last the rest of the fight.

Lu Bu will use the same attacks he was using in the first phase, except all of them will have fire effects that appear shortly after he performs the attack.
How to Beat Lu Bu (Second Encounter) (General Tips)
Buff Before Entering Boss Area
The Lu Bu boss fight will begin immediately after opening the door to the boss room, so buff yourself. Your Spirit Gauge will return to 0 as the fight begins but the buff will remain.
Attack From Behind
Lu Bu is less deadly from behind, so keep on circling him and get a few hits at his back when an attack leaves him open.
Summon Reinforcements
Summon companions to take the aggro away from you, so you can focus on dealing damage to him, or back off when you need to.
Equip Fire Defense Boosting Gear
Lu Bu deals fire damage, so it would be good to defend well against fire attacks.
Aim to Deflect the Critical Blows
Deflecting Lu Bu's critical blows will be instrumental in bringing him down, especially if you aim to do it 1 on 1. Deflecting these will immobilize him and leave him open to punishment.
