The Valley of Crying Wraiths All Flag Locations

Battle Flags 1 and 2

①	At the start of the mission, simply walk forward and you should see the first Battle Flag.
②	Follow the path until you reach a fork in the road then take the path on the left.
③	Continue on the path until you get to a hanging bridge. The second Battle Flag will be beside said bridge. Just before this Battle Flag, you can encounter Zhu Xia on the side of the path and upgrade your weapons.

Marking Flag 1

①	After raising the second Battle Flag, don't cross the bridge just yet. To the left of the bridge, head down on the wooden platform all the way to the ground.
②	Once you drop down to the ground, head to the path on the left. The first Marking Flag will be behind an enemy.

Battle Flag 3

①	Make your way back up to the hanging bridge then cross it.
②	Continue on the path until you see an area with four enemies. One of these enemies is a warlock. You may opt to defeat the warlock first to prevent it from empowering the other three enemies.
③	Defeat the enemies then raise the third Battle Flag in the middle of the battle area.

Battle Flag 4

①	After raising the third Battle Flag, proceed to the path on the cliffside.
②	Continue on the path and cross the two hanging bridges. After crossing the second bridge, you will see the fourth Battle Flag in an area to the right.
③	Before heading to the fourth Battle Flag, there is a ladder you can drop which you can take to go back to a previous Battle Flag.
④	When you get closer to the fourth Battle Flag, an enemy resembling a big tiger will appear. Defeat the tiger then raise the fourth Battle Flag.

Marking Flag 2

①	After raising the fourth Battle Flag, head back to the bridge but take the leftmost wooden bridge.
②	Follow the path until you see a brazier. Climb up the two ledges and you should see a hanging bridge.
③	Cross the hanging bridges and you should see the second Marking Flag at the end.

Battle Flag 5

①	Turn around and cross the bridge again then continue down the two ledges and when you get to the brazier, turn left and follow the path with the black and red vines.
②	Continue on the path until you reach a fork in the road then take the path on the left.
③	Proceed on the path until you see a ladder on the opposite side of the mountain then jump towards the ladder.
④	Climb up the ladder and you can find the fifth Battle Ladder at the top.

Marking Flag 3

①	After raising the fifth Battle Flag, head to the area right in front of you. This area will have an enemy with a Morale Rank of 18. You can either fight or just ignore it.
②	Follow the path on the left, continuing all the way through the path by the cliffside.
③	Along this path, you will encounter an enemy with a hammer. Defeat this enemy and you should see the third Marking Flag at the end of the path.

Battle Flag 6

①	After raising the third Marking Flag, turn around and take the path down to the right.
②	Keep following the path down until you reach a ladder.
③	Climb up the ladder then cross the wooden bridge. You can find the sixth Battle Flag after crossing the bridge.

Marking Flag 4

①	After raising the sixth Battle Flag, turn around and drop down from the right of the bridge.
②	After dropping down, there will be enemies in this area so be prepared to fight. Defeat all the enemies then proceed up the ledge.
③	Continue on the path until you reach an area with four enemies consisting of one soldier and three warlocks.
④	Defeat them and climb up the ledge where the three warlocks were stationed. You can find the fourth Marking Flag in the area behind them.

Battle Flag 7

①	Drop down from the fourth Marking Flag and defeat the enemies in the area by the waterfall.
②	After defeating all the enemies, proceed to the cave behind the waterfall.
③	Continue on the leftmost path, then open the door to reveal a shortcut.
④	After opening the door, turn around proceed to the path on the left. Continue to the area with red lighting, then defeat the warlock on the platform. The seventh Battle Flag is located in the area behind this platform.
⑤	There will be additional enemies by the platform. Defeat all the enemies in the area then raise the seventh Battle Flag.
⑥	After raising the seventh Battle Flag, follow the path on the left until you reach a ledge overlooking a battlefield. Drop down to the battlefield to begin the boss fight against Zhang Bao.

Marking Flag 5

①	After raising the seventh Battle Flag, take the path on the right.
②	Climb up the ledges until you reach the top.
③	There will be an enemy in this area so defeat it then raise the fifth Marking Flag at the end of the room.

The Valley of Crying Wraiths Dragon Veil Crystal Location

The location for the Dragon Veil Crystal in this mission can be found behind an enemy with a Morale Rank of 16. From the location of Battle Flag 6, take the path on your left going down. Continue past the tree until you see an enemy that looks like a big tiger.

The Valley of Crying Wraiths Golden Cicada Shell Location

You can find the Golden Cicada Shell for this mission on your way to the second Marking Flag. Instead of going all way to the Marking Flag, drop down through the hole in the bridge and you should be able to find the Golden Cicada Shell.

The Valley of Crying Wraiths Shitieshou Location

From the location of Battle Flag 6, take the path going down on your left. The Shitieshou will be at the bottom of the slope, right next to a campfire.

Watch Out For An Ambush

There will be many chests positioned in easy-to-find places. Be careful when opening these chests as there is a chance enemies with ambush you while you open the chests.

Be Mindful of Flags Under Cliffs

In this particular mission, flags will be placed either on top or underneath cliffs. Be mindful of the areas you pass through when you progress in this missions as to not miss any flags.

Take Out the Warlocks First

Throughout the course of this mission, there will be groups of enemies fighting together. Some of these groups will have a warlock to strengthen the other enemies. It its best to take out the warlock first to avoid enemies having a stronger damage output.

Open Shortcuts Near Enemies

On the fourth and seventh Battle Flags, there will be shortcuts such as a ladder available for you to use. Make sure to open these shortcuts so you can utilize the previously raised flags in the mission.

The Valley of Crying Wraiths Boss Guides

Zhang Bao

Zhang Bao will mainly be utilizing fire-based attacks. While these attacks can simply be dodged or deflected, players can also deal with this by way of Water Phase Spells.
