Blindfolded Boy Movesets

Normal Attacks

Ice Arrows

Blindfolded Boy conjures a constant stream of ice arrows that rapidly fly and hit the player multiple times.

Solar Storm

Blindfolded Boy summons three large flaming spheres and throws them at the player consecutively.

Sword Step

Blindfolded Boy jumps into the air and summons a sword to use as a stepping stone for his next jump. Each of the swords summoned this way eventually fly towards the player. The final attack in this combo summons three swords, wherein the first two fly towards the player simultaneously and the third one follows after a short delay.

Ground Eruption

Blindfolded Boy floats into the air and causes the ground around him to erupt into spikes of earth.

Critical Blows

Deflection

Blindfolded Boy goes into a stance and readies a counter to the player's normal attacks.

Genki-dama

Blindfolded Boy slowly conjures a very large sphere of burning energy that he throws in the direction of the player.

Gliding Slash

Blindfolded Boy rises into the air and then quickly rushes in an attempt to stab the player.

Grab Rush

Blindfolded Boy raises his left arm and then rapidly rushes towards the player to grab them.

Critical Combo

Blindfolded Boy will occasionally string together multiple Critical Blows. Successfully deflecting these attacks will not stop him from attempting the next attack in the string.

How to Beat Blindfolded Boy (General Tips)

Ice Arrow Defense

There are a number of defensive plays for Blindfolded Boy's Ice Arrow attack. Pick the option that you are most comfortable with, however, deflection of this attack offers the most utility due to the increase in Spirit Gauge upon successful deflects.

Shadow Clone Evasion

Blindfolded Boy will occasionally summon two shadow clones that attack in tandem with one another. The real boss will always perform a Genki-dama during this attack, so retreat a medium distance, and then jump to avoid the clones. Once you've avoided the clones, prepare to deflect the Genki-dama that's coming your way.

Maintain a Medium Distance

Try to maintain a medium distance away from Blindfolded Boy during this fight. Many of his attacks happen quickly and can be difficult to differentiate from his other attacks. Try to keep him in an area on the screen where you can watch what he's doing to get a better idea of his attack patterns.
