During the boss fight, several shadowy puppets will spawn at regular intervals. The Rinko-like Entity can set fire to these puppets, which in turn causes them to charge at Hinako. To avoid taking damage from them, destroy the puppets before the boss can set fire to them.
If you've successfully taken down a puppet, try to use Soul Siphon to charge Bestial Form for stronger attacks. Additionally, having the Crow Omamori equipped will heal you slightly when defeating the puppets.
The boss has several ranged attacks that it can use to reach you even at a distance. Stay ready to dodge if you're stepping back to use a healing item or otherwise.
The boss also has several wide-ranging attacks that are indicated by smoke appearing on the floor. Avoid these smoky areas, as they will erupt into flame as part of the boss' attacks.
The Rinko-like Entity lashes out with its chains several times at Hinako. This move gains more attacks the lower the boss' HP gets, but can be countered.
The Rinko-like Entity throws flame at Hinako in a ranged attack.
If the boss sets fire to one of the wandering puppets in the arena, it will charge at Hinako and explode when in close proximity. Dodge when the puppet makes contact with Hinako to avoid the explosion.
The Rinko-like Entity summons a line of flame, indicated by smoke rising from the ground.
The Rinko-like entity causes flames to erupt from the ground all over the room, indicated by clouds of smoke on the ground.

The Rinko-like Entity is encountered as the final boss of the Dark Shrine Main Hall area, in the ninth chapter of the game.

| Description | |
|
A monster that has taken the form of a head priest. It sounds just like Rinko. Swinging around an onusa staff used for purification rituals, this creature is consumed by the fires of jealousy and remains surrounded by babbling puppets. There's no way Rinko is a monster like this. But this is her, without a doubt... |
|
Defeating the Rinko-like Entity awards you the Echoes of Jealousy trophy if you did not get hit by her puppets during the boss battle.

I'd say it's not the boss fight itself (the attacks are telegraphed ok, it's rhythmic and readable) but rather the combat designer's inexperience in implementing the moveset. Some moves get input buffered, some don't. The downtime is not properly indicated, hence half the time Hinako just stands there like a chump with an invisible irregular cooldown when you want her to run or dodge or whatever; she's clumsy and unresponsive. Sure, survival horror can be slow, but it has to be consistent
