The Shichibi is a boss in Silent Hill f, fought during the events of Chapter 13 at the Dark Shrine Final Path. See how to beat Shichibi, as well as its attacks and more details about it in this guide!
How to Beat Shichibi
Avoid the Shining Puddles
The Shichibi has several attacks wherein it creates shining pools of light across the watery surface of the arena. These will erupt into piercing tendrils, so avoid standing over them while fighting.
Take Out the Summoned Monsters
After depleting the Shichibi's health enough, it will briefly revert to its form as Fox Mask and summon varying enemies. Defeat these enemies quickly to avoid getting swarmed.
Heal While the Barrier is Up
In its Fox Mask form, the Shichibi will gradually put up a barrier to return to its monstrous self. Take this time to use healing items as the barrier nullifies damage that the boss might take.
Shichibi Attacks and Move List
Three Hit Combo
The Shichibi attacks Hinako thrice, slashing at her with its claws then with its tail. The attack with the tail can be countered.
Bloody Tendrils
The Shichibi plants its tails into the arena to summon pools of light that burst into long tendrils, piercing Hinako.
Monster Summon
The Shichibi reverts to its Fox Mask form, while summoning various shadow enemies to attack Hinako.
Backwards Leap
The Shichibi leaps backwards, slashing around itself with its claws while retreating.
Shichibi Encounter
Fought at Dark Shrine Final Path
The Shichibi is the alternate Final Boss for The Fox Wets Its Tail ending. This ending is obtained by not using the Red Capsule item to heal, as well as by obtaining the Unpurified Sacred Sword.

Awards the Fox Tamer Trophy
Defeating the Shichibi awards you the Fox Tamer trophy if you defeated all the monsters spawned by the boss when it reverted to its Fox Mask form.
