Doctor's House Puzzle Guide
- Use the Ladder to Enter the House

Use the Ladder to Enter the House
The front door of the doctor's house is locked when Hinako calls out to them. However, you can still enter their house by using the ladder found at the side to go to the 2nd floor, where a window is open.
Explore the 2nd Floor
Upon entering the house, there are two rooms found on the 2nd floor. The first room contains an immobile Kashimashi enemy lying on a futon, which indicates that the doctor might have been observing or treating it. There, you will also see a locked drawer.
When you go towards the 2nd room, the door will immediately shut itself and Hinako will be slightly paranoid if there's anyone else in the house. To open it, head downstairs for now.
Retrieve the Key from the Eyeball Box Downstairs
Explore the room downstairs to find a closed door. Open it to find a small living room with a desk to your left. There, a box with eyeballs will be on top where you can retrieve the Drawer Key for the locked one upstairs from one of its compartments.
Open the Drawer on the 2nd Floor
Head back to the 2nd floor and enter the patient room to find the Kashimashi no longer there. Ignore it for now and open the drawer to find the Local Doctor's Note item which alludes to Shu's family giving unprescribed medicine to citizens. Do note that this is not important to progress the game and is not brought up in the main story.
Head Towards the Closed Room
Once you retrieve the document, return to the other room to find the door has been opened. Inspect the room to find an Omamori Pine in one of the drawers and the Autopsy Report on top of their desk. This is hinted to be the doctor's findings tied to the deaths in Ebisugaoka.

The Doctor's House can be found in Ebisugaoka Fields (Fog Town) while exploring the area. This is an optional puzzle that can be returned to during your time in Ebisugaoka.

Eyeball Box Puzzle Rewards
Omamori [Pine]
The Omamori [Pine] is found inside one of the drawers in the Doctor's Room. It increases your Max Health, which is great for combat.
