Ebisugaoka Corrupted (Fog Town) Walkthrough
1. Chase After the Fog Monster
Hinako awakens at the Shimizu Residence to a corrupted land, the area now overrun by red flowers, and it fills her with rage. Chase the fog monster down the mountain path, cutting through any enemies that block your way, until you reach Sakuko's house in the middle of town, where you'll come face to face with the Shiromuku.
During your descent, you’ll encounter numerous Kashimashi, Glowing and Vomiting Monsters, as well as large Birthing Monsters, which can quickly become overwhelming. If you’d rather conserve healing items, dodge through and avoid direct confrontations when possible, and make use of any Hokora Shrines you come across to save your progress.
2. Proceed to the Worship Hall
After confronting the Shiromuku and witnessing Hinako’s demise, you’ll be transported back to the Dark Shrine as Fox Hinako, where Fox Mask awaits. Enter the Worship Hall to trigger a cutscene in which the offering ritual is completed, and Fox Hinako fully transforms into the Shiromuku.
The scene then shifts back to the corrupted Ebisugaoka, where the old Hinako fades from existence while the Shiromuku reverts into Fox Hinako as she walks away.
3. Return to the Shimizu Residence
Head north through the town toward Hinako’s house. Previously blocked paths will now be open, making the route straightforward. Along the way, you’ll encounter red celluloid dolls three times; each interaction with it changes the scenery and spawns a wave of enemies that must be defeated before moving on.
The chapter concludes once you reach Hinako’s home, where she once again kills her parents in the form of the Shiromuku. The scene then transitions back to the Dark Shrine, with Hinako petrified and trembling on the floor.

Expect to encounter the Kashimashi, Glowing Monster and Vomiting Monster while you navigate through the town. There are no major bosses in this area, though minibosses like the Drum Monster and Birthing Monsters patrol the residential areas.
