Avoid consuming the Red Capsules to get the Good Ending. When looking to restore Health or Sanity, opt to use other consumables such as Bandages or Ramune instead.

Collect all 5 offerings: Faded Bride Doll, Rusted Flask, Broken Japanese Geta Sandal, Cracked Hibachi Brazier, and Dad's Old Kitchen Knife. Offer them at the Jizo Statues to unlock the Sacred Sword.
Once acquired, keep the sword unpurified until you reach the game’s final chapter. This decision is what locks you into the Good Ending route.

The Good Ending in Silent Hill f, also known as The Fox Wets Its Tail, shows Hinako finally rejecting Fox Mask and the control others have tried to place on her life. In this ending, Hinako asserts her independence, choosing her own path instead of surrendering to the will of her parents or divine forces.
During the final battle, the Shichibi repeatedly portrays himself as a victim, claiming he has done everything for Hinako’s happiness. However, his words reveal that he never truly listened to her desire to live freely. While Hinako recognizes his efforts after the fight, she ultimately rejects his vision for her future, solidifying her resolve and self-agency in the Good Ending, choosing to leave with Shu.
After the credits, the scene shows geysers erupting around Ebisugaoka, forcing residents to evacuate. This suggests that the Shichibi was the town’s guardian deity, and with his defeat in The Fox Wets Its Tail, the land lost its protection. This final note ties back to his earlier statement that he had been “abiding by human rules” for Hinako’s sake, reinforcing the bittersweet nature of Silent Hill f’s Good Ending.
